S.T.E.M. Experience

We have robotics teams from elementary to high school who will be showing off their talents to the public. We want to bring a light to children and those interested in engineering careers during our festival by showcasing different aspects of the engineering field.

These programs are more than just building robots, it is teaching students that S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) can be fun and help them in their future careers.

S.T.E.M. programs believe that every student deserves equal access to a quality Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics education. They complement formal education with exciting, challenging, and inspiring programs for students K-12.

The Festival Food Big Cart

Where else would you find a 300 horsepower, 350 cubic inch Chevrolet engine with a 750 Holly carburetor and a TH350 transmission shopping cart? Our Big Cart is the largest in the world! It stands 12.5-feet high and 18-feet long with a 3.87:1 rear end and Mickey Thompson racing slicks. We’re proud to use it in parades and other promotional events throughout Wisconsin.

A math teacher helped us figure out that about 415 full grocery bags could fit in the big cart if all the bags need to be enclosed in it. If some bags could be standing above the top of the cart, he figured you could fit 496 bags, if we stacked up four full layers of bags. Now that’s a lot of our favorite Festival Foods groceries!
