Compassionate Home Health Care Inc.

Our Mission

Compassionate Home Health Care’s mission is to fight hygiene poverty by subsidizing the high cost of cleaning and hygiene supplies for personal care services and programming for seniors, children, Veterans, those with disabilities and special needs.

Compassionate Home Health Care is a not-for-profit organization in our 12th year and we serve vulnerable community members in Brown, Outagamie, Winnebago, and Calumet counties. Basic necessities such as toilet paper, shampoo, soap, laundry detergent, dish soap, paper towels etc. are not items covered under government financial assistance programs. We discovered 13 years ago that individuals who receive in-home health care went without personal care/hygiene and cleaning supplies. Caregivers couldn't provide the authorized services, the individual would go without the necessary services, and the caregiver wouldn’t be compensated for their time and incomplete services which eventually lead to many caregivers leaving their jobs.We understand that home health is not age, gender, or ethnically limited and when you give to CHHC, you're improving lives in our community as we partner with organizations that support services for veterans, elderly, children, those with disabilities and special needs. Our incredible partners are able to reach a wide variety of underserved communities such as new mothers and women with children, African Americans, Latinos, unhoused populations, people with disabilities, and more.

Partnerships

We partner with over 30 non profit organizations in Northeast Wisconsin to collect and distribute much needed personal care items (shampoo, soap, toilet paper, body wash, lotion, etc.).

Opportunities

Our “A Community that Care’s” program offers internships and volunteer opportunities to assist in refining new skills while offering a unique work experience that supports working families, those with disabilities, minorities, and more.

We offer internships to students from local area middle schools, high schools, technical colleges, and the W2 program.

We create opportunities for these individuals to gain knowledge and training in areas they may find interest in a future career. Help build confidence, character, skills, leadership, logistics, and an understanding of the processes of a campaign, project, etc.
Individuals can step into the program at any time of the year and learn what processes we are working towards at that time: marketing, management, event planning, grant writing, leadership, and task management.
